seep

A couple disintegrates in a café. A waiter, another couple, and a lone woman bear witness. Rhythms, movements, and relationships are all subtly or overtly shifted as those present incorporate and transform the emotions facing them in the café. The witnesses then bring these emotions out into the street, contaminating others. As the story of the couple transforms from anguish to pleasure to frustration to joy to hysteria, the couple is finally excluded from the consequences of their own experience.

“an insightfully composed piece about the effects of one couple's dysfunctional relationship on the patrons of a cafe . . . seep generates moments of quiet genius.”
