Abound

"God is in the details of this wordless work . . . remarkable . . . Highly Recommended "
- Chicago Reader

"taps a well of unexpected emotion . . . works wonders . . . Don't Miss!"

"a unique body language . . . lovely"
- Chicago Tribune

Abound tells the story of how people emerge from loneliness to encounter others in private and public moments. We examine how people negotiate, ignore, refuse, and find possibilities for partnership. Out of a maze of possible connections, Abound draws into one couple that finds each other, and examines how the decision to be with one partner or several both limits and unfurls possible connections in the future. In keeping with sprung’s signature style, Abound features pedestrian movement reconfigured and transposed into startling sequences that unlock and magnify the mysteries of human interaction.
